Gambling is prohibited

Q: At this stage, my life is at a standstill. Everything is going wrong. Especially with business, sons, I cannot move forward. I’m at a blank, shut down. Please help. |

A: As per your horoscope, the current ruling planet is Saturn. This planet is favourable for you but at the same time it is the lord of the 8th house (house of misfortune) and also the lord of the 9th house (house of good luck and fortune) in your birth chart.

This planet ruled for 19 years. The first nine-and-a-half years will be stagnant at work, stressful, lack peace and be a tough time.

But the second half of this dasha (when Saturn rules) will be easy with happiness, success and family prosperity.

As per Vedic astrology from 2022 onwards, you should start getting favourable results and you should be lucky in a few aspects of life thereafter.

Do the following faithfully until 2022 to overcome your problem:

1. Fast or be vegetarian every Saturday.

2. Read the Shree Hanuman Chalisa 11 times every Saturday.

3. Chant Om Namah Shivaya 8 minutes daily.

4. Donate one pair of black nonleather shoes, old or new, to a poor person, once a year at least. Make sure you do not buy shoes on Saturday and the person you donate them to is able to fit into them.

5. If finances allow, then wear a 5ct blue sapphire in a pendant form. Try to stud the stone in a sterling silver pendant in such a way that the stone should touch the skin from the back of the pendant.

A: Astrologically your planet Mars is very strong. This is the main planet to check energy level, confidence, positive mindset and to have strong will in one’s life. In your husband’s chart this planet is well placed and is also in full swing, making him very hard working and a positive thinker.

But with these two important factors being present in his chart he is still struggling.

Despite having such good qualities that help one to achieve success, his second most beneficial planet, Mercury, is debilitated (weak), the root cause of his struggle.

3. Chant Om Shree Ganeshaya Namah 24 minutes daily.

4. Donate grain or cloth, preferably in green colour, on any Wednesday, six times a year.

5. On the main day of Ganesha Chathurthi (that falls in September) he should chant the above mantra three hours in the morning and three hours in the evening.

6. Every month you get two Chathurthi thithi (date). He should fast and pray more on these days.

7. As per a more detailed remedy, when Chathurthi tithi (4th day after new moon and full moon) falls on any Tuesday, it has become an extremely auspicious day. It may happen two to three times in the year. Consult a local priest for the dates. By worshipping Lord Ganesha on that day you shall gain manyfold benefits. Try to increase your prayer on that day.

A: According to Vedic astrology, the second house (considered as the house of wealth), 5th house (house of getting sudden wealth), 9th house (house of luck) and 11th house (house of profit ) is in one’s chart.

These houses have to be strong and aspect by beneficial planets, if one has to become financially prosperous.

With regard to gambling, besides these aspects, you also have to check the position of Rahu and Mars. As I mentioned, the 5th house is for instant money. Here the planet Rahu is situated, therefore you will always take risks in your profession and want to become rich overnight. You like gambling, and your planet Mars is strong, you take bold and big decisions very quickly. In gambling you don’t win every time and when you don’t Mars helps ensure you are not affected by it. As per your destiny, it is written to make big money instantly because of Rahu and Mars favourable situation.

But the main question is, can you sustain this money to take you a long way. To know this we have to check the 5th house more deeply. You also have Jupiter and the moon together in 5th house, it’s a favourable position for you to keep money.

But Rahu is also there so, ultimately you will lose money. As per rule of thumb, Jupiter situated with Rahu, and the moon with Rahu cause poisonous yoga. So, it’s a mixed situation now.
