Comfort on the North Coast

WIDENHAM Retirement

Village, the newest village in

the Hibiscus Retirement

Villages group, is 50km south of Durban, just before the town of Scottburgh.

The cottages are sold on the life right basis.

Hibiscus Retirement Villages is at all times responsible for all maintenance of the cottages, both inside and outside. There is no sectional title and therefore on purchasing the life right there are no commissions, no lawyers’ fees and no tax payable.

When residents leave the village, for whatever reason, the amount paid for the life right is refunded.

Widenham currently has 24-hour nursing staff operating out of a clinic and the village will also have a frail-care facility purpose-built later on in the development.

Each cottage is wired for wi-fi and fibre is provided to the home, as well as a telephone service (Voip) and Dstv. All you need is your decoder. Dedicated staff will connect you and, within the day, your TVS, telephone, internet and your printers will be connected.

If you are retired, or are 60 years of age, we have a cottage for you. Currently, there are

236 cottages occupied and 432 happy residents. Please make an appointment and visit our available sites in phase 4.
