The reality competition show allows unemployed young South Africans to compete in an interview and a task challenge to “secure” a job in the industry or sector that they trained or studied for, or wish to join. Potential employers and employment agencies will be invited to interview candidates on television. Each week four candidates are shortlisted for a position that needs to be filled by an employer.

In Black And White – A Memoir by Anant Singh (R250 on Loot.co.za) Singh is arguably South Africa’s most famous producer, the man synonymous with some of the best films in South African history – Sarafina, Yesterday and Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom. In his memoir, he tells how he fell in love with film-making, how he got into the industry, and the relationships he has with world leaders and film icons alike.

Developed by Josh Wardle, a programmer from Brooklyn, Wordle is an online word game where players have to guess what the five-letter word of the day is. And players have to guess within six tries. Results are shared on social media and everyone feels rather clever when they have figured it out. It’s the new Pokemon Go!
