INDIAN POLICE SEIZE ARMS

THE Delhi Police seized a consignment of smuggled ammunition on Friday that was intended to be transported to Lucknow from the national capital. They arrested six people, Dehli police commissioner Vikramjit Singh, said in a press conference on the recovery of a large amount of ammunition days before the 75th Independence Day celebrations tomorrow. Investigations are continuing and police have not ruled out a terror angle in the case.
