IAN Wyles Auctioneers will be auctioning a traditional country estate on December 7 at 11am.

The Oaks Country Hotel in Byrne Valley, Richmond, will go under the hammer in an online and live auction at The Oyster Box in umhlanga Rocks.

The Oaks is situated near the Serpentine River, which runs through the village of Byrne.

The beautiful property is surrounded by stunning scenery and capped by lush green hills and forests.

The escape is about 45 minutes from Pietermaritzburg and 75 minutes from Durban. The property sits on almost 20 hectares and includes a bowling green, tennis courts and a putt-putt course.
